What is accelerated TMS therapy?

Accelerated TMS condenses a six-week course of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation into 1–4 days. Patients receive multiple short sessions per day using theta-burst stimulation, the same FDA-cleared technology used in standard TMS.

How is Mobile Psych different?

We offer concierge cash-pay accelerated protocols with optional qEEG brain mapping and VR therapy add-ons. Treatment is delivered by a board-certified psychiatrist at two Texas locations.

Which conditions does accelerated TMS treat?

FDA-cleared for Major Depressive Disorder, OCD, smoking cessation, and anxious depression. Off-label protocols also available for PTSD, ADHD, and tinnitus. Off-label use is legal and recognized in clinical practice but outcomes vary.

How much does treatment cost?

$3,500 for MDD or PTSD (40 sessions, 4 days). $5,000 for ADHD or PTSD+MDD (80 sessions, 4 days). $1,000 for unilateral tinnitus (10 sessions, 1 day). $1,500 for bilateral tinnitus (20 sessions, 1 day). Optional add-ons: qEEG $1,000, VR therapy $250.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Mobile Psych is a cash-pay practice. Patients may submit a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, but reimbursement is not guaranteed.

Is TMS painful or risky?

TMS is generally well-tolerated. Common side effects include scalp discomfort, mild headache, and brief facial muscle twitching during stimulation. Seizure is rare (approximately 1 in 30,000 sessions). Patients are screened for contraindications.

When will I notice results?

Many patients notice subtle improvements by Day 2 or Day 3. By Day 4, a majority report meaningful symptom reduction. Individual results vary. Follow-up evaluations are scheduled at 1 week and 1 month.

What is qEEG and why is it recommended?

qEEG (quantitative EEG) is a non-invasive scan that measures brain electrical activity. We highly recommend it because it provides objective baseline data plus measurable comparisons at 1 week and 1 month post-treatment.
